ECOCUT-TECH Swarf De-oiling Centrifuge operates at the horizontal plane which is the most suitable design for continuous feed of metal chips. The horizontal centrifuge with its high efficiency and easy access to inner parts, translates into very low running and maintenance costs. Another advantage of the horizontal drum design is that the metal chips leave the centrifuge after the switch-off without the need of any intervention. Whatever the reason of switching-off, it may be end of working hours or switching to another batch of different coolant or metal, the cleaning of the drum and the filter would take so little time that the downtime of the operation would be minimized.
ECOCUT-TECH Swarf De-oiling Centrifuge feeds the metal chips right in the middle of the drum which then spreads evenly over the surface of the drum, thanks to the high centrifugal force. Any new swarf entering the centrifuge pushes the existing ones towards the de-oiling filter which is positioned at the far edge of the drum. Separation of the swarf and the coolant/oil occur over the filter area with the help of 300-400 G centrifugal force and the dry metal chips leave the centrifuge by the pushed-bythe-new effect.
ECOCUT-TECH Swarf De-oiling Centrifuge should be fed with metal chips that are still wet and having maximum length of 30 mm. If longer than 30mm swarf should be processed, then prior to de-oiling by the centrifuge, the size of the metal chips should be decreased to the suitable size by using ECOCUTTECH Shredders. Any object that is not metal or swarf should not be fed into the centrifuge, therefore it is recommended to isolate foreign objects with the help of a mechanical separator.
